Cookie Policy

Last updated 2 June 2026

This page explains the cookies and browser storage we use, and how you stay in control of them.

Template notice. This is a general-purpose cookie policy. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional and update it to reflect the exact tools you run before launch.

The short version

We use only what's needed to run the site, plus optional analytics that fire only if you accept them. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell your data.

What cookies and localStorage are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. localStorage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of information on your device. Both let a site remember things between visits — but the items we use stay on your device and aren't used to track you across the web.

The consent popup

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept optional analytics. Essential storage needed to run the site and to remember your choice always applies. Optional analytics only run if you select "Accept all"; if you reject, they don't load.

Browser storage for preferences

We use localStorage to remember two things: your cookie-consent choice, so we don't keep asking, and your settings inside our tools (such as the Avios calculator and flight-delay checker). This stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Google Fonts

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google when those fonts are requested. This is to display the site's typography. See Google's privacy information for more.

How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings at any time, and you can change your analytics choice by clearing the site's storage so the banner reappears. Blocking essential storage may affect how the site works.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above shows the current version.
